The Arts Education in Maryland Schools (AEMS) Alliance recognizes the critical role of parents as advocates and wishes to support their efforts to ensure high-quality opportunities for their children to learn in and through the arts. Parents should play a major role by being full partners in all decision-making affecting their children. Through this involvement, they can work to improve arts education for all children.

The AEMS Alliance has compiled a list of useful resources, which parents can use in their advocacy efforts. Please let us know if there are any additional links you think we should include. Parents are one of our most valuable resources in organizing grass roots involvement. We welcome your suggestions.
