National Arts in Our Schools Month March 2023
During National Arts in Our Schools Month 2023, AEMS sent letters to the Superintendent, the State Board of Education, and the Governor, informing them of the current state of arts education at the statewide level and requesting answers on long-outstanding issues.

Blueprint Accountability & Implementation
Throughout the process of drafting implementation plans for the Blueprint for Maryland's Future, AEMS has advocated for explicitly including the arts in this transformational legislation. At both the statewide and local levels, AEMS has pushed to ensure that the arts are not left out. Education without the arts is not a world-class education!
