Release Education Funding!

Schools and other education programs depend on federal funding to stretch limited budgets and offer essential programming for students and learners of all ages. Typically, a significant portion of these funds is distributed on July 1. However, on June 30, state departments of education were informed that the U.S. Department of Education (ED) and the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) had placed certain federal education programs under review. As a result, the release of these funds has been put on hold and did not occur as expected on July 1.

AEMS joined over 500 organizations across the country in a successful demand for the release of these funds. Stay tuned on our national advocacy page for more updates and action alerts.
