AEMS disseminates surveys and collects information from arts educators during the

school year to center the voices of public school arts educators and teaching artists statewide.

The goal is for  AEMS to continue learning more about:

• the state of fine and performing arts education

• identify classroom trends, and

• collaborate on strategies for arts advocacy.

​

The information gathered is used to develop community reports and strategic plans for statewide arts education advocacy while protecting the identity of townhall participants.
